Text Box: CHARACTERS: This section is self explanatory BLASTOSAURUS: With a sardonic wit, thick skin and a surprisingly sharp mind (one plagued by mysterious memories that cannot possibly be his) Blastosaurus is 7ft and 250lbs of somewhat unstoppable power. His weaknesses are not that dissimilar to anyone else's. He doesn't like being electrocuted, he hates being hit with pick axes and he generally can't say no to candy. To the dismay of those around him, Blastosaurus loves to make puns. This should not be seen as a character flaw on his part but more a flaw in the nature of a pun-hating society. Despite being a competent police office, Blastosaurus is seldom allowed to solve real cases. He can't fit in a regular police car, his fingers are too big to type up the paperwork without constant typos and it's fairly difficult fro him to go undercover. This, combined with Captain Harris' hatred of mutants means Blastosaurus spends a lot of his time trying to get out of charity appearance at places like comic conventions and wrestling matches. RICHARD GREENE: Richard is the luckiest 12 year old in the world. He is best friends with a dinosaur, runs his own detective agency and his mother is usually too drunk to notice what he's doing. Add to this a mysterious grandfather who has disappeared and left Richard an apartment with a secret room and you have the recipe for the ideal life. Richard is quick witted, an intellectual and grammatical snob and takes great joy in picking on others (mainly Alana, who smells). Richard is also a natural leader and finds new and exciting things to do with his friends, most of which involve ditching school to go on some kind of mission. ALANA: Alana is one of Richard's closest friends. She is book smart and tries to be street smart. Despite what Richard says, she often gets the upper hand in their exchanges. Alana is focused and responsible and tries her best to go to school but usually gets convinced by Richard that other things are more important. EMMA and SAM: Emma and Sam are brother and sister. For some reason Emma lets her 10 year old brother hang out with her and her friends. Emma is cooler than the others, she knows it and she wishes they would just accept it. She is too cool to get excited by ghosts and detective agencies, she is too cool to even bother listening to Alana and Richard fight but mostly she is too cool for her own good. She is very protective of her little brother though. Sam on the other hand is certain he doesn't need protecting. The self proclaimed Destroyer of Worlds and video game champion in his own living room, Sam is a technical wizard with a tendency to become slightly too obsessed with whatever he is thinking about at the time. THE RAPTORS: 4 mutated raptors, blessed with human cunning and the strength to wrestle a pterodactyl from the sky. Claw, Club, Spikes and Max (named after their human counterparts The Raptorz whom they stole clothes off when they first arrived in the present day) are a seemingly unstoppable force for evil and the mortal enemies of Blastosaurus. They killed his mother and tortured him before he was mutated and now he is hell-bent on destroying them. The problem with all this is that it soon becomes clear to Blastosaurus that the Raptors are small time and there are much bigger and more powerful enemies to fight such as Robin King and David Factory. ROBIN KING: Second in command at Factory Corp and a force to be reckoned with. He can match Blastosaurus in a fight (and probably win if he got a chance) and has the money and resources to destroy a place like Freak Out City. His biggest advantage might just be the fact that he has replaced parts of his body with complex robotics. Robin King is charged with looking after and controlling the Raptors by his boss David Factory. Robin sees this as just one more inconvenience in is quest for power at any cost. DAVID FACTORY: Very little is known about David Factory. He is the head of Factory Corp, the biggest business in Bayside city. They own and control anything worth owning or controlling. NAOMI FENTON: Naomi is Blastosaurus' long suffering partner on the Freak Out City Police Force. She is determined to be taken serious as a female cop in a horribe city, especially given her dubious family history. Naomi really enjoys Steak apparently.
