Text Box: Secret Origins: Here you'll find a brief synopsis of each completed story arc from the Blastosaurus series. TEST PATTERN: This is the origin story of Blastosaurus.  It chronicles how he got mutated, how he got to the future, how he managed to get an apartment (not to mention a spiffy coat) and how he got a job on the police force. This arc also introduces many of the other important characters such as Richard, an incredibly awesome 12 year old and his friends Alana, Emma and Sam.  Aside from them we of course meet the big bad guys, namely Robin King (someone fairly high up at Factory Corp who was instrumental in causing the mutation of the Raptors and (accidentally) Blastosaurus. By the end of the 6 issues you are all set up for wherever the story wants to go.   DEEP FOCUS: When the kids decide to investigate the mystery of a boy who disappeared in an apparently abandoned church they find more than they bargained for...ghosts...ghosts with tails and scales who (upon closer inspection) look an awful lot like Raptors. Blastosaurus heads underground (did I not mention thatthe church has secret tunnels under it) and confronts his old foes in a battle to the death.       RETARDATION: Retardation is a term used often in film theory.  It is the process of revealing information to either the audience or other characters without necessarily letting some characters know.  So, that's what this single issue story is about. Keith is the night Janitor at Factory Corp and when his pet frog (also named Keith) escapes into the secret basement levels of the building Keith (human) has no choice but to jimmy the lock with a screwdriver and go in after him. As he descends further into the bowels of the evil corporation he somehow doesn't notice the hideous things going on around him.   SLUGS: A washed up TV detective who has trouble separating reality from his cancelled show, a celebrity sex tape in the wrong hands and four kids lost in a comic convention.  Blastosaurus is trying to avoid going but all these things seem to be forcing him into it.
